WIN 10 Wifi Issues (connected but no internet access)

Annoyingly sometimes you can have an issue with DHCP and your MAC address due to an update. To get around this you can connect to a new wifi access point or network cable and perform updates

Wifi Power Settings

  1. Press WIN + X
  2. Click on the "Additional power settings" link
  3. On the selected radio button select "Change plan settings" > "Change advanced power settings"
  4. Under "Wireless Adapter Settings" > "Power Saving Mode" reselect the setting to "Maximum performance0"
